Turkish armed forces and the Free Syrian Army (FSA) have secured Mount Bursaya in Syria's Afrin during Operation Olive Branch. Mount Bursayan lies in the north of Azaz along the Turkish border, and has been an active frontline as the base for the YPG’s armoury and ammunition. Latest on the situation in Afrin, Syria after the launch of Operation Olive Branch. And the flow of tourists in Jerusalem from Turkey.

Afrin first fell into the hands of the YPG terror group in 2012. Since then, more than five thousand men, women and children have been forced out of the area. Ahmed al Burai travelled to a camp that many people now call home, and spoke to them about what drove them there.

The war in northern Syria has divided many members of the Kurdish community. In one case, TRT World met a Kurdish man fighting for the Free Syrian Army. He's pledged to go to war against the YPG after they attacked his family. From Azaz, TRT's Ahmed al Burai reports.
