For the first two years, Turkuaz Magazine was a standard at the prestigious ATAA Congresses and the Turkish Festivals around the US, showcased at all of the key Turkish-American events. Subscriptions were generated either by mail, or in person at Turkish functions. 

The editorial mission of Turkuaz Magazine was and still is to provide an ongoing forum that reflects and responds to the diverse interests of the Turkish Expat Community. This mission covered so much ground for politicians in the US, that each issue of the magazine was mailed to 50 US Senators, who represented Turkish-Americans.
